WLN is sponsoring a Passport program this summer. Visit libraries in Westmoreland County and get your passport stamped. More info will be provided soon.
COMING SOON: It’s time for the annual Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is All Together Now. And it will be in person again, as well as online. Start date to begin logging your reading progress is June 12. Look for the links for online reading log soon, or come in for a folder with paper log and other fun stuff. The Jeannette Initiative, through its endowment with the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, is making a free technical assistance service available to businesses located in the Jeannette Central Business District (CBD). This service will allow eligible businesses to attend, free of charge, any of the YWCA of Westmoreland County’s existing training sessions dealing with various hardware and software matters.
